Terms & Conditions for Service Staff & Services

1. Contractual Partner & Scope

The contractual partner for all bookings of service staff and services within the scope of BCB 2026 is SELECT. Berlin GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "SELECT.Berlin").

These terms and conditions apply to the provision of event, trade fair, and service staff as well as to all associated logistical and conceptual services provided by SELECT.Berlin for the exhibitor (hereinafter referred to as the "Customer") during BCB 2026.

2. Inquiry & Order Confirmation

The submission of the online form constitutes a non-binding inquiry by the Customer. No contract is concluded with the inquiry. A legally binding contract only comes into effect when SELECT.Berlin sends a written offer to the Customer and the Customer confirms this offer in writing or SELECT.Berlin confirms the execution of the service in writing (Order Confirmation).

Upon confirmation of the order, SELECT.Berlin is entitled to the agreed remuneration. This also applies in the event of a full or partial termination or cancellation of the order. The same applies to the full or partial non-utilization of the services.

3. Execution & Labor Regulations

The execution of the assignments is subject to the following labor regulations and booking terms:

  • The minimum booking time is 6 hours per employee and day of assignment.
  • For working hours of up to 3 hours, no break is provided.
  • For working hours between 3 and 6 hours, a break of 15 minutes must be provided.
  • For working hours between 6 and 8 hours, the break is 30 minutes.
  • For working hours exceeding 8 hours, a break of 45 minutes must be observed.
  • In any case, employees must not work for more than 6 consecutive hours without a break.

Break times are not compensated as working hours.

4. Cancellation Policy

In the event of a full or partial termination or cancellation of the order by the Customer, the following cancellation fees apply:

  • Cancellation up to 240 hours (10 days) prior to the start of the contract: 0% of the remuneration.
  • Cancellation up to 120 hours (5 days) prior to the start of the contract: 30% of the remuneration.
  • Cancellation up to 72 hours (3 days) prior to the start of the contract: 40% of the remuneration.
  • In the case of a later cancellation, termination, or non-utilization of the services: 50% of the remuneration.

The fees are calculated per cancelled employee based on the planned deployment duration, but at least based on the minimum booking time of 6 hours.

5. Prices & Billing

All prices specified in the online form are estimated net prices and are subject to the statutory value-added tax (VAT).

The final billing will be based on the actual hours worked by the staff.

For short-term bookings from 02.10.2026, the following surcharges (late booking surcharges) apply to the regular hourly rates:

  • 02.10.26–05.10.26: +25%
  • 06.10.26–08.10.26: +50%
  • from 09.10.26: +100%

6. Miscellaneous & Written Form

Amendments, changes, or side agreements must be in writing. The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Wildau / Berlin.
